Melissa Gruen has worked as an illustrator, designer, and art director for many years. After working in watercolor, she began to experiment with mixed-media sculpture, converting driftwood into fish and constructing birds and mermaids out of paper and hardware. Melissa has created paper sculptures and three-dimensional paper renditions—suitable for framing—of people, places, and pets. The beauty of a home or the special memory of a pet will be captured and enjoyed for years to come.
